Eyebrows
They help us frown, smile, express curiosity or surprise. Yet sometimes, our eyebrows can make our face appear tired, sad or lacking energy. Eyebrows can dramatically change our facial expression, making us look younger, fresher and more cheerful. They can help bring out our natural beauty!
Brow Lift: Every Face Is Unique
The position of the eyebrows is one of the most important factors influencing facial appearance, which is why brow lift surgery is a highly sought-after procedure.
Although naturally low-set eyebrows can be hereditary, drooping eyebrows are most commonly associated with the natural ageing process. In both cases, they can create a tired or unhappy facial expression.
A brow lift helps open up the eye area, enhancing the appearance of both male and female faces.
Preparing for a Brow Lift
Before the procedure, you will have a free examination and consultation with one of our doctors.
Every face is unique, and yours has its own individual characteristics. With years of experience, our specialist surgical team can assess your facial features and recommend the most suitable approach to achieving natural-looking, harmonious results.
Your initial examination and consultation are completely free of charge and available to everyone.
The Surgical Procedure: Quick, Comfortable and Effective
Brow lift surgery is usually performed as an outpatient procedure under local anaesthesia, sometimes combined with intravenous sedation and analgesia.
The procedure typically takes up to one hour.
Incisions are generally placed within the hair-bearing area of the forehead, making postoperative scars discreet and difficult to notice.
The results of brow lift surgery are long-lasting, creating a more open and refreshed appearance around the eyes and contributing to a friendlier, more approachable facial expression.
Recovery and Precautions
Most patients can return home on the same day, and normal daily activities can usually be resumed within a few days after surgery.
Complications are uncommon, although some temporary swelling and bruising may occur.
During the first few days after surgery, the eyebrows may appear slightly higher than expected. This is generally temporary, as the tissues gradually settle into their intended position.
Swelling and bruising typically improve within approximately one week, although recovery times may vary.
Applying cold compresses during the first 24 hours after surgery is recommended to help reduce swelling. Strenuous physical activities should be avoided for several weeks, according to your surgeon’s instructions.
